Homedics QRM-400 is one of the products for Homedics line of massage systems. This is one of the early models to have the quad rollers which move upwards, downwards and sideways. Plus, the width can also be adjusted with the use of the track control. There is no doubt that Homedics QRM-400 works, and that is based from what the users say, especially by those who enjoy hard back massages.
People who have tried HoMedics’ lower models of massagers can’t help but compare them with Homedics QRM-400. The four rolling massagers give more relaxing massage and greater coverage than two rolling massagers, which that lower models have. Instead of going to expensive spa treatments or massage clinic, the consumers are glad that they have their own massagers at home as they conveniently have a massage any time they please. According to them, Homedics QRM-400’s massage is so relaxing and can relieve back pains. The spot massage really works and they get to adjust the width of the rollers for a better massage range.
Although the consumers were pleased with the massage that they get from Homedics QRM-400, they also have negative feedbacks about it. For one, the Homedics QRM-400 is not as comfortable as it looks, also it is very bulky that and just by itself is already as big as a free standing chair. Placing Homedics QRM-400 on top of an ordinary chair does not make it comfortable to sit on, so what most consumers did was to find the big chairs that go well with the device, just like what they have in malls.
Another thing is the LED lights that illuminate the massage mechanism, which the consumers find no use. Plus it remains on even after you turn the massager off, thus, the consumers need to unplug the device completely from the wall socket.
There were also a few who were satisfied with the quality of massage, but not on the quality of the whole Homedics QRM-400 itself. Some broke down after a few days while others lasted only a few weeks. What made it worse is that the manufacturer does not sell spare parts and their return policy is only good for 14 days.
A lot of factors should be considered when buying a massager, and one of which is the after sales service. If we are to recommend Homedics QRM-400 quad roller based on its efficacy, we would give it 5 stars. However because of its durability issues and the after sales service the manufacturer provides, we’d say that you should consider other brands, or maybe higher models.

This wonderous rolling shiatsu is everything promised. I actually got to try a double roller at a local Ace Hardware in Bloomsburg PA and fell in love with the thing.
I ordered the Quad Roller and am very happy. My wife fought me on this and wondered where we would put it, and keep it from being “unsightly.” It is in our living room, covered with a ‘decorative throw’ for easy access and is used daily. My only complaint is the fact that I am 6 foot one, I wish it would climb higher up the neck. I am able to pull it up to accomodate however.
